[Chorus]
A bottle of whisky and a six-pack of beer
Truck’s running poorly, but I get it in gear
Garbage Night, I take the trash out of sight
Garbage Night, it keeps my world right
It used to be so simple, I put the cans in my trunk
Not a lot of garbage, I recycle at the dump
Now I’ve been screwed by waste management
Three oversized cans, I’m feeling desperate.
One for the trash, one for recycling
Another for the natural garden debris
Now the only way I can get them to the curb
Is to heft‘em in my truck, I want to flip ‘em the bird
[Chorus]
I slam the gate closed but it might not stay.
The dog’s hyped now, yeah he licks my face
Backing out the truck I stop too quick
Now there’s garbage all over the place
I putter up the driveway, barely make it to the top
I’m running on two cylinders, but it doesn’t stop
A nest of rats has chewed my spark plug wires
It’s an old broken truck but it’s got good tires.
We’re roaring down the road, Rain pounding on the cab
We’re soaking wet with my big brown lab.
Blue light for brights, Green light is 4 wheel
Lights on my face makes me look evil!

The truck won’t start, it’s dead this week.
I’m gonna have to haul the cans up the street.
My accomplice falls down, spills his beer
I whisper to myself, “Wizard, get me out of here.”
Next week I’m walking up the driveway with the cans
The garbage smells bad and it’s hurting my hand
It’s along way to the garbage dump and a long way to
the curb
I get along fine though with my whiskey and herb.
[Chorus]
